Privacy Policy for Doably
Doably: Beat Task Paralysis Published by OFO Labs
Effective Date: August 1, 2026
Summary
Doably does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. The app operates entirely offline on your device and makes no network requests of any kind. Nothing you type ever leaves your iPhone.

2. Data Collection
We do not collect any data.
Specifically, Doably does NOT:
- Collect personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Collect usage data or analytics
- Track your location
- Use cookies or similar tracking technologies
- Require user accounts or registration
- Make network requests of any kind
- Send data to any server, first-party or third-party
- Use advertising identifiers
- Use any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or tracking frameworks
This is not a policy choice that could be quietly reversed in an update. Doably has no backend to send anything to.
3. Data Storage
Everything Doably records is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:
- The tasks you name, and the steps of each ladder
- Which steps you finished, skipped, or had cut smaller, and when
- How long you spent in a focus session
- Ladders you chose to save and reuse
- Your settings, including your last energy choice
This data is included in your device backup if you have one enabled, and that backup is a matter between you and Apple. OFO Labs has no access to it.
4. Apple Intelligence and On-Device Generation
On an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, Doably can write a ladder of steps for a task that its built-in library does not cover. This uses Apple's Foundation Models framework and runs entirely on your device.
The sentence you type is processed by the iPhone in your hand and is never transmitted anywhere. Doably holds no API key, has no account with any AI provider, and has no capability to send text off the device.
If your iPhone cannot run Apple Intelligence, or you have it switched off, this feature is simply unavailable. Every other part of the app works exactly the same, using the 80 ladders written into the app and any steps you write yourself.
5. Widgets and Live Activities
Doably's Home Screen widget, Lock Screen widget and Live Activity read a small summary from a shared container on your device: the name of your current or most recent task, how many steps you finished today, and your streak. This summary never leaves the device and is not readable by any other app.
6. In-App Purchases
Doably Premium is sold through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Apple handles the entire transaction and tells the app only whether you own the purchase.
OFO Labs never sees your name, your payment details, or your Apple Account. Apple's own privacy policy governs the purchase itself.
7. Your Control Over Your Data
Settings contains:
- Export everything: produces a plain text copy of everything Doably holds, which you can share or save anywhere you like
- Delete all sessions: permanently removes your history from the device
Deleting the app removes everything else.
There is nothing to request from us and no account to close, because we hold nothing.
8. Children
Doably has no accounts and collects no data, so there is nothing to collect from a child either. The app is rated 4+.
9. Not a Medical App
Doably is a focus and productivity tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or claim to improve any medical or psychological condition, and nothing in it constitutes medical advice. If starting tasks is consistently difficult for you, a doctor is a better next step than an app.
10. Changes to This Policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new effective date. Any change that involved collecting data would require an app update, which would go through Apple's App Review.
