Summary
Gigback does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. Every photo is analysed on your iPhone. The app has no server, no account and no analytics, and it works with no network connection at all.

2. Data Collection
We do not collect any data.
Specifically, Gigback does NOT:
- Collect personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Collect usage data or analytics
- Track your location
- Use cookies or similar tracking technologies
- Require a user account or registration
- Make network requests of any kind
- Send your photos, or anything derived from them, to any server
- Use advertising identifiers
- Use any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or tracking frameworks
This is not a policy choice that could be quietly reversed in an update. Gigback contains no networking code and has no backend to send anything to.
3. What Gigback Reads
Your photo library. Gigback asks for full access to your photos so it can compare them against one another. Finding duplicates means looking at the whole library: with a hand-picked selection there is nothing to compare.
Every photo is analysed on your device. Gigback computes a small numerical fingerprint of each one, a sharpness measurement and a perceptual hash. These are meaningless outside the app and none of them are ever transmitted. Photos are never uploaded, copied off the device, or shared with anyone.
Gigback never reads your Hidden album.
Available storage. The main screen shows how much space your iPhone has free. This is read from the system and displayed to you. It is not recorded or sent anywhere.
4. What Gigback Stores On Your Device

About the receipt thumbnails. When you delete photos, Gigback keeps a small picture of each one so that if you change your mind days later you can find it in the Photos app's Recently Deleted album. iOS does not allow any app to see that album, so without the receipt you would have nothing to search for. These thumbnails stay on your iPhone, are excluded from backups, are deleted automatically after 60 days, and can be cleared at any time from Settings.
5. Deleting Photos
When you confirm a cleanup, Gigback asks iOS to move those photos to Recently Deleted, where they remain for 30 days and can be restored by you at any point in that window.
Gigback cannot access Recently Deleted, cannot empty it, and cannot permanently delete anything.
6. Purchases
Gigback Premium is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. OFO Labs never sees your payment details, your Apple Account, or any personal information connected to the purchase. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.
7. Children
Gigback is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, of any age.
8. Your Rights (GDPR and Similar Laws)
Because Gigback collects no personal data, there is nothing for OFO Labs to give you a copy of, correct, restrict, or delete. Everything the app knows lives on your iPhone and is removed completely when you delete the app. There is no processing by us and no controller-held data.
