Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using GymWell. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GymWell, developed and published by OFO Labs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License

OFO Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use GymWell for personal, non-commercial purposes on any Apple device you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Not Medical or Professional Advice

GymWell is a training log and analytics tool, not a medical device and not a source of medical, diagnostic, or professional fitness advice. Estimated one-rep maxes, volume figures, intensity values, and body measurement charts are informational calculations based on the numbers you enter, and they are not a training prescription. Always consult a qualified physician or certified trainer before beginning, changing, or continuing any exercise program, particularly if you have an existing medical condition or injury. You exercise at your own risk, and OFO Labs is not responsible for injury, illness, or loss arising from your training decisions.

Account and User Conduct

GymWell requires a free account so your training data can sync across your devices. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree not to misuse the service, not to attempt to access other users' data, not to reverse-engineer the app, and not to use GymWell for any unlawful purpose. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app.

Your Data

Your workouts, programs, custom exercises, notes, and body measurements are stored in our cloud database so they are available on your devices. We handle this data as described in our Privacy Policy. While we take reasonable measures to protect it, no online service can guarantee absolute security, and OFO Labs is not liable for data loss resulting from service interruption, account deletion, device failure, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Purchases

GymWell is free to download and use. The free tier includes unlimited workout logging, full access to your own training history, the rest timer, streaks, up to 2 programs, up to 3 custom exercises, the one month chart range, and body weight tracking. GymWell Pro is optional and unlocks additional depth.

GymWell Pro is offered in two forms: a yearly auto-renewable subscription (GymWell Pro Yearly) and a one-time lifetime purchase (GymWell Pro Lifetime). Both unlock the same features. All payments are processed by Apple.

  • The yearly subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple ID subscription settings.
  • The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment, permanently tied to your Apple ID, and can be restored on any device signed into the same account.
  • If a subscription lapses, none of the content you created is deleted, hidden, or locked. Your complete training history, programs, custom exercises, notes, and measurements remain fully viewable, editable, and deletable, and the full training history screen stays available on every tier. What applies again are the Pro gates. They cover creating new items beyond the free limits, and they also cover the Pro-only views themselves: the summary stats row, the consistency heatmap, chart ranges longer than one month, and CSV export, which return to locked exactly as they were before the purchase.
  • Content you created before any limits applied to your account remains fully usable regardless of your tier.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies.

Intellectual Property

GymWell and its design, features, exercise library content, and functionality are owned by OFO Labs and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app. The training data you enter remains yours.

Disclaimer of Warranties

GymWell is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. OFO Labs does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the app is at your sole risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OFO Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of GymWell, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of data, or interruption of service.

Termination

OFO Labs may terminate or suspend your access to GymWell at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting your account and removing the app from your device.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Updated terms will be reflected on this page. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from the use of GymWell shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
