Summary

Hillpace does not collect, store, transmit or process any personal data. The app contains no networking code at all and works fully offline, including in aeroplane mode. It does not ask for your location.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect any data.

Hillpace has no account system, no sign in, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind. We operate no servers.

3. No location, no maps, no sensors

Hillpace is a calculator, not a tracker. You type in a distance and an ascent, or read them off a map, and it works out a time. It never asks for location access, never uses GPS, and never records where you go.

That is a deliberate design choice rather than a missing feature. A planning tool does not need to know where you are, and an app that does not ask cannot leak it.

4. What the app stores on your device

The walks you save, the times you record, and whether you have purchased Hillpace Pro are stored locally on your iPhone. This is included in your own encrypted iPhone backups if you have backups enabled. Those backups are between you and Apple. We never receive a copy.

Your fitted pace is calculated on your device, from your own logged walks, every time it is needed. It is not stored anywhere else and is not sent to us.

5. Purchases

Hillpace Pro is a single purchase handled entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase system. We never see your payment details, your Apple Account, or your name. The app asks StoreKit whether this Apple Account owns the purchase and stores nothing about you beyond that answer.

6. Children

Hillpace is suitable for all ages and is rated 4+. It contains no user-generated content shared with anyone, no chat, no social features, no external links and no advertising.

7. Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes all of its data. Since nothing was ever sent to us, there is nothing for us to delete on our side and nothing for you to request.

8. Third parties

There are none. Hillpace contains no third-party SDKs, no frameworks that phone home, and no embedded services.

9. Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Since the app collects nothing, any change would be a clarification rather than a new use of data.
