Privacy Policy for Homekeep

Summary

Homekeep does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. The app operates entirely offline on your device and makes no network requests of any kind. Nothing you enter ever leaves your iPhone.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect any data.

Homekeep has no account system, no analytics, no advertising identifiers and no tracking of any kind. We operate no servers, so there is nowhere for your information to be sent even if we wanted it.

3. What the app stores on your device

Your homes and their details, the maintenance schedule generated from them, every job you mark as done, and any notes, costs or photos you attach are stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework.

This information is included in your own encrypted iPhone backups if you have backups enabled. Those backups are between you and Apple. We never receive a copy.

4. Photos

If you attach a photo or a receipt to a service record, Homekeep reads that single image from your photo library with your permission and stores it inside the app's own storage on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere.

Homekeep does not browse your photo library, does not scan it, and requests access only at the moment you choose to attach an image.

5. Notifications

Maintenance reminders are scheduled locally by iOS on your device. There is no push notification server. If you decline notification permission, every other part of the app continues to work normally.

6. Purchases

Homekeep Premium is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple. We never see or receive your payment details. Apple informs the app only whether the purchase exists so the app can unlock the paid features.

7. Children

Homekeep is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

8. Third parties

Homekeep contains no third-party SDKs, no analytics libraries, no advertising networks and no crash reporting services. The only external party involved is Apple, and only for the in-app purchase.

9. Your rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing to request, correct or delete from us. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the effective date above and publish the revised version at ofolabs.net/homekeep/privacypolicy.
