Summary

Nodeline does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. The app contains no networking code at all. It works fully offline, including in aeroplane mode.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect any data.

Nodeline has no account system, no sign in, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind. We operate no servers. There is nowhere for information to be sent, even if we wanted it.

3. Nodeline does not use your microphone

This is worth stating plainly, because every other room acoustics app on the App Store does. Nodeline takes no measurement of any kind. It never requests microphone permission, and it contains no code that could record, sample or analyse sound. Everything it tells you is computed from the dimensions and materials you type in.

4. The physics needs no server

Every mode frequency, every pressure field, every reflection point, every response curve and every reverberation time is worked out on your own iPhone from the standard formulas of room acoustics. Nothing is looked up, nothing is requested and nothing is sent. Two phones given the same room reach the same answer by computing it, not by fetching it.

5. What the app stores on your device

The rooms you have entered, their dimensions and materials, the speaker and listening positions you have saved, and whether you have purchased Nodeline Pro are stored locally on your iPhone in the app's own container. This information is included in your own encrypted iPhone backups if you have backups enabled. Those backups are between you and Apple. We never receive a copy.

The dimensions of your home are the most personal thing this app holds, and they never leave your phone.

6. In-App Purchase

Nodeline Pro is a single one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your payment details, your Apple Account, or your name. Apple tells the app only whether the purchase exists. Apple's own privacy policy governs the transaction.

7. Children

Nodeline is a technical tool for adults setting up audio equipment. It collects nothing from anyone, of any age. It has no user generated content, no messaging and no way for one user to reach another.

8. Third Parties

There are none. Nodeline contains no third party SDKs, no software development kits for analytics, advertising, attribution or crash reporting, and no embedded browsers. It is built entirely on Apple frameworks.

9. Your Rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export or delete. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device.

10. Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new effective date. A change that affected data collection would require the app to start collecting data, which it does not do.
