Nookling: Self-Care Pet Published by OFO Labs

Summary

Nookling is a self-care companion: you tick a few gentle daily check-ins and a small creature's room fills with objects. It does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data. There is no account, no sign in, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no server of ours anywhere in the app.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect any data.

Nookling has no account system, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporting and no third party software development kits. The rooms and the creature are pictures bundled in the app, and the app makes no network requests of its own. We operate no servers, so there is nowhere for information about you to be sent.

3. What the app stores on the device

  • Your check-ins and how often each one repeats, including any you wrote yourself.
  • Which check-ins you ticked on which days, the moods you picked and any short notes you typed.
  • Your rooms: which objects were placed, where, and on which day.
  • Your settings: the creature's name, sound, haptics, room light and reminder times.

All of it stays in the app's own storage on your iPhone and is included in your own encrypted device backups if you use them. We never receive a copy.

4. Notifications

If you turn on reminders, Nookling asks iOS for permission and schedules at most two local notifications a day on your iPhone. Nothing is sent through a server, and you can turn reminders off at any time in the app's settings.

5. Sharing

If you share a weekly look-back card, the app creates an image on your device and hands it to the iOS share sheet. It goes only where you choose to send it.

6. Purchases

Nookling is free to download. Nookling Plus is optional and is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see payment details, your Apple Account or your name.

7. Not a medical service

Nookling is a gentle self-care habit companion. It does not measure, diagnose or treat any condition, gives no medical advice, and collects no health information. If you are struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional or someone you trust.

8. Children

Nookling is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information at all, it cannot knowingly collect information from a child.

9. Deleting data

Deleting the app removes all of its data. Since nothing was ever sent to us, there is nothing to delete on our side.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you have rights to access, correct, export and erase personal data. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or erase. If you have a question about this policy, email ofolabs@gmail.com and we will answer.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new effective date. Since the app collects nothing, any change will be a clarification rather than a new use of data.
