Patchbay is a switchboard from 1940 that fits in your hand. Brass jacks sit in a walnut face, braided cords hang off them under their own weight, and a patch list runs along the bottom with a lamp for every line. Pull a plug and the whole wall swings, settles and re-hangs; seat it somewhere else and the lamps go green one at a time down the list. The puzzle is which hole. Every plug is keyed to its own bay, so you never hunt for the right socket, but every bay has spare jacks, every cord has a length, and no two cords may cross. What makes it different from every other wire puzzle is that the cords are physically there: they have weight, slack and their own shadow, and the shape you see hanging is the exact shape the game measures, computed in whole numbers so the verdict is the same on every device. Pull one too far and the braid goes amber and the plug refuses to seat. There are 220 panels across five exchanges, from four cords up to fourteen, and every one of them was solved by the game's own solver before it shipped, with the last exchange reserved for panels that have exactly one answer. A fresh Daily Panel arrives every calendar day, the same one for everybody, with a streak that counts your run. There is no advertising, no timer, no lives, no energy and no currency: undo and reset are unlimited and cost nothing, and a panel you put down is where you left it. Every bay carries a shape and an engraved name as well as a colour, so nothing depends on telling red from green. Offline, no account, nothing leaves your phone.
