Printroll collects nothing.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no account, no sign in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no third party SDKs of any kind. It makes no network requests of its own and works with no connection at all.

What stays on your device

Your rolls, the frames you shoot on them, the prints the lab returns and your settings all live in Printroll's own storage on your iPhone. They are removed when you delete the app. Nothing is uploaded, synchronised or backed up by us, and nothing is shared with anyone.

Camera

Printroll asks for the camera so it can take the frames on your roll when you press the shutter. It never records video and never records audio. Every frame stays on the device, in the app's own folder.

Photos

Printroll asks for add only access to your photo library, and only when you save a print or an index sheet. Add only access lets an app put a picture into your library; it does not let the app read your library.

Adding photographs you already have to a roll goes through Apple's own photo picker, which runs outside the app and hands over only the pictures you choose. Printroll needs no photo library permission for that and never sees anything else in your library.

Notifications

If you choose to have a roll developed at nine the next morning, Printroll asks for permission to notify you and schedules that one notification locally on your iPhone. No server is involved and no notification is ever sent by us.

Purchases

Printroll is bought once. There are no in app purchases, no subscription and no currency, so there is no purchase data of any kind.

Children

Printroll is a general audience app. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
