Privacy Policy for Reefline

Summary

Reefline does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. The app runs entirely on your device and makes no network requests of its own. No data ever leaves your iPhone.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect any data.

Specifically, Reefline does NOT:

  • Collect personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
  • Collect usage data or analytics
  • Track your location
  • Use cookies or similar tracking technologies
  • Require a user account or registration
  • Make network requests of its own
  • Send data to any server, first-party or third-party
  • Use advertising identifiers
  • Show advertising of any kind
  • Use any third-party SDK, analytics tool, or tracking framework

3. Data Storage

Everything Reefline remembers is stored locally on your device in Apple's UserDefaults. This is:

  • Which tanks you have completed, how many attempts each took, your best number of days and the animals lost
  • The saved state of each tank you have running, so it continues exactly where you left it
  • Your settings: sound effects, music, haptics, Celsius or Fahrenheit, and whether you have seen the tutorial

This data never leaves your device. It is removed when you delete the app.

4. Game Center

Reefline does not use Game Center or any other online service. There are no leaderboards, no achievements and no sign in of any kind.

5. Purchases

Reefline is bought once, up front, from the App Store. It contains no in-app purchase, no subscription and no consumable of any kind. Your purchase is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details, and we receive no information about you from the transaction.

6. Children

Reefline is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, of any age. It is not part of Apple's Kids Category.

7. Third Parties

Reefline contains no third-party code, no advertising network, no analytics provider and no crash reporting service. Nothing about you is shared with anyone, because nothing about you is collected.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none. Everything Reefline stores is on your own device, under your control, and is deleted with the app.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at https://ofolabs.net/reefline/privacypolicy with a new effective date.
