Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Roomful. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Roomful, developed and published by OFO Labs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
License
OFO Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Roomful for personal, non-commercial purposes on any Apple device you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
What Roomful Does
Roomful helps you record the things you own, room by room, with photographs, descriptions, serial numbers and values that you enter. It can read text from a photograph on your device to suggest a brand, model or serial number, and it can produce a report of what you have recorded.
What Roomful Is Not
Roomful is a record-keeping tool. It is not insurance, and it is not advice.
- Roomful does not value, appraise or authenticate anything. Every figure in the app is one you entered yourself.
- Roomful makes no statement about what any insurance policy covers, and it is not connected to any insurer.
- Roomful cannot promise that any insurer, loss adjuster, police force or other body will accept a report it produces, or treat a claim in any particular way.
- Nothing in the app or its output is financial, insurance or legal advice.
Decisions about cover, claims and valuation are between you and your own insurer or adviser.
Accuracy of Recognition
Roomful uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to read text from photographs. Text recognition can misread characters, and object recognition can be wrong or unavailable entirely depending on your device.
Everything Roomful suggests is shown to you in an editable field before it is saved, and you are responsible for checking it. A serial number in your inventory is only as accurate as the moment you confirmed it.
Your Data and Your Responsibility
Your inventory is stored on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, in your own private iCloud database. OFO Labs never receives it and cannot recover it for you.
Keeping a copy of anything important is your responsibility. If you rely on this record, export it and keep the file somewhere other than the device it describes. A record of your belongings stored only on a phone that is inside the house it documents may be lost with the house.
Purchases
Roomful is free to download and free to use for recording your inventory without limit. Roomful Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it unlocks exporting the report as a PDF and a spreadsheet, and attaching receipts, warranties and appraisals.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, not by OFO Labs.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, and not to use it for any unlawful purpose, including recording property that is not yours in order to misrepresent ownership.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Roomful is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. OFO Labs does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that recognition will be accurate.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OFO Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Roomful. This includes any loss arising from a claim being reduced, delayed or refused.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. The current version always appears at https://ofolabs.net/roomful/terms with the date above.
