Privacy Policy for Setright

Summary

Setright does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. The app runs entirely on your device, makes no network requests of any kind, and nothing ever leaves your phone.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect any data.

Specifically, Setright does NOT:

  • Collect personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
  • Collect usage data, statistics or analytics
  • Track your location
  • Use cookies or similar tracking technologies
  • Require an account, a sign in or a registration of any kind
  • Make network requests of any kind
  • Send data to any server, ours or anyone else's
  • Use advertising identifiers
  • Use any third-party SDK, analytics tool or tracking framework

The app contains no advertising, no in-app purchases and no third-party code.

3. Data Storage

Everything Setright remembers is stored locally on your device in Apple's UserDefaults, and it amounts to a few kilobytes of JSON:

  • Which scenes you have set right, and which second readings you have found
  • Which days you have completed the Daily Shelf
  • Your sound, haptics and colour cue settings

This data exists only on your device, and in your own device backup if you have backups switched on. We have no access to it. Deleting the app removes all of it permanently. The Settings screen also has a control that clears it immediately.

4. Third-Party Services

Setright uses only frameworks that ship with iOS:

  • SwiftUI and UIKit for the interface
  • SpriteKit and Core Graphics for drawing the shelves
  • AVFoundation for sound
  • CoreHaptics for haptics
  • Foundation for local storage

There are no other libraries, no SDKs, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising code in the app.

5. Children

Setright is a puzzle game rated 4+ because it contains nothing objectionable, but it is not designed for or directed at children, and it is not in the Kids Category. It collects no data from anyone, of any age.

6. Your Rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export or delete. Under the GDPR and comparable laws this means there is no processing of personal data by OFO Labs in connection with this app. If you would like to remove the data on your own device, use the reset control in Settings or delete the app.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, the current version will always be at https://ofolabs.net/setright/privacypolicy with the date it was last changed.
