Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using ShiftPay. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ShiftPay, developed and published by OFO Labs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The App

ShiftPay records shifts you enter, calculates worked hours after unpaid breaks, applies the overtime and premium rules you configure, and shows an estimate of what a pay period is worth. It runs entirely on your device.

Estimates Are Not Payroll

ShiftPay produces estimates from rules you enter yourself. It is not payroll software and it is not employment, tax or legal advice.

The app does not connect to your employer, does not receive your real pay data, and cannot know your contract, your jurisdiction's overtime law, your tax code, your deductions, or any agreement specific to you. It calculates exactly what you tell it to calculate.

Overtime thresholds, premium rates, break rules and pay periods are entered by you. If they are wrong, the estimate is wrong. Rounding conventions, minimum wage rules, statutory premiums and payroll deductions vary by country and by employer, and ShiftPay does not apply them.

Always check ShiftPay's figures against the payslip issued by your employer. Where the two differ, your employer's payslip and your contract govern, not this app. ShiftPay is a tool for spotting a discrepancy worth asking about, not evidence of what you are owed.

Free and Pro

ShiftPay is free to download and use for up to two jobs, including unlimited shift logging, the calendar, the reports, your current period estimate and full history, with no time limit and no ads.

ShiftPay Pro is an optional one-time purchase, not a subscription. It adds unlimited jobs, daily and weekly overtime rules, double overtime, night premiums, weekend premiums, CSV export of a pay period, and shift reminders.

Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by OFO Labs. If your purchase is refunded or otherwise revoked, Pro features stop being available, but ShiftPay never deletes jobs or shifts you have already recorded.

Your Data

ShiftPay stores everything on your device and transmits nothing. You are responsible for your own backups. Deleting the app deletes its data, so export a CSV first if you want a copy. See the privacy policy at ofolabs.net/shiftpay/privacypolicy.

Reminders

Shift reminders are local notifications delivered by iOS. Delivery timing is controlled by the operating system and by your notification settings. Do not rely on ShiftPay as your only reminder for anything that matters.

Acceptable Use

Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app, or use it in violation of any applicable law.

Disclaimer of Warranties

ShiftPay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. OFO Labs does not warrant that any calculation matches what you will actually be paid, nor that a reminder will be delivered at any particular time.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OFO Labs is not liable for any damage, loss or expense arising from your use of the app, including any difference between an estimate shown in ShiftPay and the pay you receive, any decision taken on the basis of an estimate, or a reminder that did not arrive.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
