Stinger is built so that your data never leaves your iPhone.

The Short Version

Stinger collects nothing, tracks nothing and uploads nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code of any kind.

What the App Stores, and Where

• Your preferences (unit system, whether onboarding is complete) are stored in the app's local settings on your device.
• Your machines and saved setups are stored in a local database on your device. They are included in your normal iPhone backup like any other app data, and they are deleted when you delete the app. You can also delete them at any time from Settings inside the app.

Nothing above is transmitted to us or to anyone else. Stinger contains no networking code beyond the App Store purchase itself, and it works fully in airplane mode.

Purchases

Stinger offers one optional one-time purchase, Stinger Pro. The transaction is handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We do not receive your name, address or payment details. Purchases can be restored on any device signed into the same Apple Account.

Data We Collect

None. We operate no servers for this app, so there is nothing for us to collect, sell or lose.

Your Rights

Because no personal data reaches us, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or erase under the GDPR, the CCPA or similar laws. Your data is on your device and under your control: deleting the app deletes it.

Children

Stinger does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at ofolabs.net/stinger/privacypolicy before the change takes effect.
