Summary

Cradlely does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. The app contains no networking code at all. Nothing you log about your baby ever leaves your iPhone.

We want to be plain about why that matters here. A baby log is a record of a child's feeding, sleep and nappies in their first months. It is nobody else's business, and we built the app so that it cannot become anybody else's business.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect any data.

Cradlely has no account system, no sign in, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind. We operate no servers. There is nowhere for your information to be sent, even if we wanted it, and the app makes no network requests.

3. What the app stores on your device

Your baby's name and date of birth, every feed, sleep and nappy you record, any amounts or notes you add, and any weights you enter are stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework.

This information is included in your own encrypted iPhone backups if you have backups enabled. Those backups are between you and Apple. We never receive a copy.

4. The PDF export

Cradlely can produce a PDF summary of what you have logged, intended for a doctor's or health visitor's appointment.

That file is generated on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet, where you choose what happens to it. If you email it, message it or save it to Files, that is your action and your choice of service, and the destination's own privacy policy applies from that point. Cradlely never uploads it anywhere and never sends it on its own.

5. Purchases

Cradlely Pro is a single purchase handled entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase system. We never see your payment details, your Apple Account, or your name.

The app asks StoreKit whether this Apple Account owns the purchase and stores nothing about you beyond that answer.

6. Children

Cradlely is a tool for parents and carers. It is used by adults to record information about an infant, and it is not directed at children and is not intended for use by children.

Because the app collects nothing and transmits nothing, no information about your child is ever received by us or by anyone else.

7. Deleting your data

Settings contains a "Delete everything" option that permanently removes every baby and every entry from the device.

Deleting the app also removes all of its data. Since nothing was ever sent to us, there is nothing for us to delete on our side and nothing for you to request.

8. Third parties

There are none. Cradlely contains no third-party SDKs, no frameworks that phone home, and no embedded services.

9. Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Since the app collects nothing, any change would be a clarification rather than a new use of data.
