Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Glidepath. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Glidepath, developed and published by OFO Labs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The App

Glidepath simulates the flight of a disc golf disc. You enter the four numbers printed on a disc's rim and the speed you throw, and the app integrates a trajectory from them. It runs entirely on your device.

What We Promise About the Simulation, and What We Do Not

We think this belongs in the terms rather than only in the marketing.

Glidepath computes a real trajectory. It integrates lift, drag and the aerodynamic pitching moment of a spinning disc at a one millisecond step, and the gyroscopic precession that turns that moment into the roll a player sees as turn and fade. It is not a drawn curve or a lookup table.

What it is not is a prediction of your throw. The mapping from the four marketing numbers on a disc to aerodynamic coefficients is a model, not a measurement, and we say so inside the app on its own How It Works page. Your wrist angle, your grip, off axis torque and the exact instant you release are not inputs, and they change a flight considerably.

Read Glidepath for the SHAPE of a flight and for how that shape changes when you change one variable. Do not read it as a guarantee of distance or of where a disc will land. Nothing in the app is advice about which disc to buy, and we are not responsible for a purchase you make after using it.

Not Affiliated With Any Manufacturer

Glidepath ships no manufacturer names, no logos and no disc catalogue. It works from the four numeric ratings, which are factual specifications you read off your own disc. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any disc manufacturer, the PDGA, or any disc golf organisation.

Purchases

Glidepath is free to download and includes three simulated flights. Glidepath Pro is a one time purchase that unlocks the release angle dial, your own arm speed, wind, disc comparison, your saved bag and unlimited flights. It is not a subscription and it does not renew.

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under the terms of the Apple Media Services agreement, not by us. Restoring a purchase on another device requires the same Apple Account.

Intellectual Property

The app, its flight engine, its interface and its artwork are the property of OFO Labs. You may not copy, decompile, reverse engineer or redistribute the app or any part of it.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the simulation is accurate for any particular disc, thrower or condition, or that the app will be uninterrupted or error free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OFO Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any purchase decision made in reliance on a simulated flight.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept it. The current version always lives at this address.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany.
