Glidepath computes the flight instead of drawing it. It integrates the real trajectory of a spinning disc, step by step, from lift, drag and the aerodynamic pitching moment. A spinning disc is a gyroscope, so that moment does not lift its nose, it rolls the disc, the lift vector tilts, and the flight curves.
