Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Innervate, developed and published by OFO Labs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The App
Innervate is a reference for human musculoskeletal and peripheral nerve anatomy. It holds muscles with their origin, insertion, action, innervation and spinal root levels, and the nerves that supply them, and it lets you ask questions across that data: what a nerve lesion costs, which muscles produce a movement at a joint, and what a single spinal root reaches. Everything ships inside the app and it makes no network requests.
Innervate is not medical advice
This is the most important thing in these terms, so it is not buried.
Innervate is a study reference. It is not a medical device, it is not a diagnostic tool, and it does not give medical advice. It must not be used to make a clinical decision about any person.
- It knows nothing about any patient, because it never asks. There is no field in the app that takes a person's details.
- It produces no finding, no diagnosis, no assessment and no recommendation about anybody.
- It describes typical human anatomy. Real anatomy varies between people, and the variations that matter clinically are exactly the ones a reference cannot predict.
- It is written for students and for revision. Anyone making a decision about a real patient must rely on their own training, their own examination, and their own institution's guidance.
If you are a patient reading a symptom into what you see here, please speak to a doctor rather than to an app.
Accuracy
The anatomy in Innervate is drawn from standard, widely agreed anatomical teaching, and the app's own tests enforce the compartment rules that organise it. Even so, no reference is free of error, sources disagree on details, and the app may be wrong. It is provided as it is, with no warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular purpose.

Purchases
Innervate is free to download and includes the complete upper limb at no cost. Innervate Pro is a single, one-time purchase that unlocks the remaining regions and the nerve lesion, myotome and movement queries. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are governed by Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by OFO Labs. A purchase is tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on any device signed in to it.
Your content and privacy
Innervate collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere. What the app stores on your device is described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You may use Innervate for your own study and reference. You may not copy, extract or redistribute the app's content as a dataset, resell it, or incorporate it into another product, and you may not attempt to reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it regardless of this term.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OFO Labs is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Innervate, including any decision made in reliance on it. Innervate is provided as it is and as available.
Changes
These terms may change. The current version is always published on this page with the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
