Everyone has hummed something good and lost it. Your phone fills up with voice memos nobody can read back, including you. Melodex turns those thirty seconds into notation you can play, edit, print and hand to another musician. It listens to the note you are actually singing rather than to a rough shape of it: it tracks your pitch continuously and decides across the whole take rather than frame by frame, so a single misread moment cannot leave a note an octave out. It finds where each note starts even when you sing the same note twice in a row, which pitch alone cannot see. It works out the tempo you were keeping, then snaps the rhythm to what you meant rather than to what your timing happened to be, because a singer who is thirty milliseconds late is a person, not a thirty second note. Then it engraves the result the way a musician would write it: the right clef for your range, the right key signature, accidentals only where they are needed, beams grouped by beat so the pulse stays visible, ties across barlines, and rests that fill every bar exactly. The part you will show someone is what happens when a take finishes. The waveform does not vanish and get replaced by a score. It becomes one: each peak of your voice lifts off the wave and settles into a note head at its own pitch, the staff draws itself underneath, and the stems and beams snap on last. Every take lands in a library that shows each idea as its own opening bar of music rather than as a filename, so you recognise the one you want by looking at it. Export MusicXML for MuseScore, Sibelius, Dorico or Finale, MIDI for any DAW, or a PDF to print. There is no account, no sign in, no server and no network request of any kind.
