Summary

Petalwise does not collect, store, transmit or process any personal data. The app contains no networking code at all. It works fully offline, including in aeroplane mode.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect any data.

Petalwise has no account system, no sign in, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind. We operate no servers. There is nowhere for information to be sent, even if we wanted it.

3. The daily mandala needs no server

Everyone gets the same mandala each day, and that happens without anyone reporting anything to us. The pattern is computed on your own device from the calendar date, so two phones on the same day draw the same mandala rather than downloading it. Nothing is requested and nothing is sent.

This is also why the app has no picture library to download. Every mandala is generated as geometry when it is shown.

4. What the app stores on your device

Your finished and in-progress pieces are stored locally on your iPhone, as a seed and a list of which colour you chose for which shape. Whether you have purchased Petalwise Pro is stored locally as well. This information is included in your own encrypted iPhone backups if you have backups enabled. Those backups are between you and Apple. We never receive a copy.

5. Sharing a picture

If you tap Share, Petalwise renders your mandala as an image and hands it to the iOS share sheet. The image contains the artwork only.

What happens next is your choice. If you send it in a message or post it somewhere, that service's own privacy policy applies from that point. Petalwise never shares anything on its own.

6. Photo library

Petalwise does not read your photo library and never asks for access to it. Saving a picture happens through the iOS share sheet, which hands the image to Photos on your instruction rather than granting the app access.

7. Purchases

Petalwise Pro is a single purchase handled entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase system. We never see your payment details, your Apple Account, or your name. The app asks StoreKit whether this Apple Account owns the purchase and stores nothing about you beyond that answer.

8. Children

Petalwise is suitable for all ages and is rated 4+. It contains no user-generated content, no chat, no social features, no external links and no advertising. Because the app collects nothing and transmits nothing, no information about any player is ever received by us or by anyone else.

9. Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes all of its data. Since nothing was ever sent to us, there is nothing for us to delete on our side and nothing for you to request.

10. Third parties

There are none. Petalwise contains no third-party SDKs, no frameworks that phone home, and no embedded services.

11. Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Since the app collects nothing, any change would be a clarification rather than a new use of data.
