Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Petalwise. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Petalwise, developed and published by OFO Labs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The App

Petalwise draws a new mandala each day and lets you colour it. Everyone gets the same daily mandala, computed on each device from the calendar date rather than downloaded. It runs entirely on your device.

What We Promise About the Mandalas

Every mandala in Petalwise is generated by the app rather than drawn in advance and shipped inside it. That has two consequences worth stating plainly, because they are the product.

The supply does not run out. A colouring app normally carries a fixed library of pictures, and once you have coloured them all there is nothing left. Petalwise computes each pattern from a number, so there is no library to exhaust.

The daily mandala is the same for everyone. Two people opening the app on the same day anywhere in the world see the same pattern, without either device asking us anything.

Colouring is by area rather than by brush. Tapping a shape fills every mirrored copy of that shape at once, which is what keeps a mandala symmetrical while you work.

Your Work Lives Only on Your Device

Your finished pieces stay on your iPhone. We never receive them.

That has a consequence worth understanding: if you delete the app or lose your device, your gallery is gone, and we cannot recover it for you. We have no copy. Keep iPhone backups enabled if your work matters to you, and use Share to save anything you want to keep independently.

Purchases

Petalwise is free to download. Today's mandala is available every day at no cost, with no limit, no timer and no advertising, and it will stay that way.

Petalwise Pro is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks generating new mandalas whenever you want one, all nine colour palettes, and your full gallery. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms; refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.

Your Pictures Are Yours

The mandalas you colour in Petalwise are yours to keep, share, print and use as you wish, including commercially. We claim no rights over anything you make with the app. This does not extend to the app itself, its code, its palettes or its name.

Acceptable Use

Use Petalwise for your own enjoyment. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or redistribute the app, and do not use it in violation of any applicable law.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Petalwise is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OFO Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of or inability to use Petalwise.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always published on this page with its last updated date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
