Trailrise
iOSA beginner 5K plan drawn as a trail up a hill, with a coach over your music
About
Trailrise takes you from walking to running 30 minutes without stopping. The plan is three short sessions a week of running and walking, a little more running each week, and it is drawn as a rendered miniature hill: every session you finish lights the next waypoint stone and moves your little runner up the trail to the summit. During a session a voice coach tells you when to run and when to walk, when you are halfway and when one minute is left, lowering your own music or podcast for a moment instead of replacing it, and the cues keep coming with your iPhone locked in a pocket. Choose the Classic plan, nine weeks and 27 sessions, or the Gentle plan, twelve weeks with smaller steps for anyone starting from zero. Not today? The trail waits. Repeat a week with one tap, and end a session early without ever losing one you finished. History charts your running minutes climbing week by week, sessions can be saved to Apple Health as running workouts, and the last session ends at the summit with a flag and a card to share. Bought once, both plans and every feature included, nothing locks after week one. Trailrise is a general fitness app and gives no medical advice. No account, no ads, no tracking, and everything stays on your iPhone.
