Privacy Policy for Wildbed

The short version

Wildbed collects nothing. It has no account, no sign in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs of any kind, and it makes no network requests at all. Nothing about you leaves your iPhone.

Location

Wildbed asks for your location while you are using it, so that it can place the map pin where you are and choose the state the free version covers. That position is used on the device and is never transmitted, never stored on a server, and never shared with anyone. You can decline the permission and use every part of the app by moving the pin yourself.

What is stored on your device

Spots you save and nights you log are kept in the app's own storage on your iPhone. They are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them.

Purchases

The one-time purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. OFO Labs never sees your payment details, your name or your Apple Account.

Cookies and web content

Wildbed contains no web views, no cookies and no embedded browser.

Children

Wildbed is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone, of any age.

Your rights under GDPR and similar laws

Because Wildbed collects, transmits and stores no personal data, there is no personal data for OFO Labs to access, correct, export or erase. Everything the app knows is on your own device and under your control.

Data sources

Wildbed bundles PAD-US 4.0, the Protected Areas Database of the United States, published by the U.S. Geological Survey. It is a United States Government work in the public domain. It travels inside the app and is never fetched.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date.
