Boltworks
iOSTake the machine apart, in the fewest driver changes it allows
About
Boltworks hands you a real machine and three drivers, and the only puzzle is the order the bolts come out. Every plate is held down by bolts with hex, Phillips or Torx heads. A plate lifts only once every bolt through it is out, and a bolt turns only under the driver that matches its head, so speed counts for nothing and the order counts for everything. What makes it different is the number engraved on the bench tag: par, the fewest driver changes that can possibly strip that machine, worked out by a solver before the machine ever shipped. Match it and the tag turns gold. Miss it and the tag tells you by exactly how much. That number is the whole score, and there are no coins, no stars and no timer anywhere near it. A plate can cover the head of a bolt in the plate below it, which is the ordering puzzle in one line: you cannot reach what is underneath until what is on top comes free, and you can orbit the assembly to look into the gap and see what is waiting. There are 150 machines across five workshops, brackets, hinges, gearboxes, pumps and engines, and every one is generated as a dependency graph of plates and bolts and proven strippable before it ships, with every printed par re-derived on every build. There is a Daily Teardown too, one machine per calendar date, the same for everyone, with a streak. No advertising, no timers, no lives, no energy, no currency, no account, and nothing leaves your phone.
