Fibbery is a party game for 3 to 8 people and one iPhone. A strange but true prompt appears, like "What is a merrythought?", and the phone goes around the table: each player secretly writes a fake answer that sounds real, behind a pass screen so nobody peeks. Fibbery shuffles the fibs in with the real answer and everyone votes for the one they believe. Then the reveal lands card by card, showing who wrote each fib and who fell for it, and finally the truth. Finding the truth is worth two points and every friend you fool is worth one; type the real answer by accident and you get a bonus point and write a fib instead. Games last 5, 7 or 10 prompts and end on a podium with awards for the Best Liar, the Truth Seeker and the Most Fooled. Four decks hold 320 prompts: Strange Words, real English words nobody uses anymore; Weird Patents, real inventions someone actually patented; Real Creatures, living things with unbelievable names; and Odd Places, real towns and landmarks with a story. Every card was checked against a source and retold in our own words. The first 40 Strange Words prompts are included, and All Decks, one optional purchase, unlocks every deck now and later.
