Nightjar draws its own deck. All seventy eight cards are rendered by the app itself, line by line, on a night ground with a single warm accent, which is why the whole thing fits in a few megabytes and stays sharp whether a card is filling the screen or sitting forty points wide in a fan. Shuffle it, cut it with a drag, and pick from the fan. The card under your finger is genuinely the card you get: the order is fixed before the fan appears, which is not true of most apps in this category. Everything that matters is free and stays free. All seventy eight cards with upright and reversed meanings written for this app, single and three card draws as often as you like, and a journal with no limit on it, because the most useful thing you can do with a reading is come back a month later and write down what actually happened. There is no counter anywhere in the app and there never will be. Nightjar Pro is one payment for the Celtic Cross, spreads you design yourself, and a patterns view that shows how often a card has come up for you beside the number chance alone would give. It is a deck and a notebook, for reflection and for entertainment. It does not tell you what is coming, and nothing you write in it ever leaves your iPhone.
