Exactly one arrangement fits them all, and you find it by reasoning rather than guessing. What makes Sleuthly different is what happens before a case reaches you. It is checked to have exactly one solution, to be reachable by deduction alone, and, unusually, to be minimal: every single clue is load-bearing, so remove any one of them and the case stops being solvable. That is why you never receive a clue you did not need, and why the line you kept skipping turns out to be the one that cracks it. Ask for a hint and it names the reason rather than filling in a square, so you learn the move instead of the answer. Difficulty is graded by the reasoning a case demands and how lean its clues are, not by grid size. It is also built for a phone: the newspaper version crams every category pair into one staircase, while Sleuthly shows one pair at a time so labels stay horizontal and squares stay thumb sized. There is no account, no server, no advertising and no tracking, and the result you share shows your time but never the answer.
